Connect with 2000 records management professionals all over the world in an instant by subscribing to the records management listserv. It's free as long as you have Internet access. Using your Internet mail system, here's the steps you need to follow to subscribe:

  1. Send an e-mail to RECMGMT-L-REQUEST@LISTS.UFL.EDU
  2. In the subject area type: Subscribe
  3. In the text area type: sub recmgmt Your Name
  4. Send the message

Shortly after subscribing, you will receive a reply message from the host stating you are now on the list. The reply contains a lot of instructions about using the list, your first posting, how to sign your messages, how to reply, what to do when you go on vacation, how you can organize all those messages, how to get a list of the members on the list, how to get archived messages, etc. Therefore, it's very important to save your first message for future reference!
